  • Do you have Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4?

    St. Rose of Lima School has PreK 3. Children need to be three years old by September 1 and need to be potty trained. Contact the school office at 215.473.6030.

  • Does my child need to be Catholic?

    As a Catholic school, students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at St. Rose of Lima School. As a Catholic school, all students participate in daily prayer, religion class, prayer services and attend monthly Mass.

  • Do you offer financial assistance?

  • Do you have a breakfast and lunch program?

    Yes, breakfast and lunch are offered free of charge to all students. Meal Menus are sent home monthly.

  • Is there an after school care program?

    Yes, there is an after school care program from 3:10 (dismissal time) until 6:00 PM. A nominal fee is charged.

  • What are the school hours?

    All students in PreK 3 through Grade 8 are due in school by 7:50 AM. Dismissal is at 3:10 PM.

  • How much is tuition for next year?

  • Do you offer bus transportation? What about SEPTA transpasses?

    The School District of Philadelphia offers yellow bus service to families who live 1.5 miles from school. Transpasses are available to 7th and 8th graders who live 1.5 miles away and qualify through the School District of Philadelphia Department of Transportation.

  • Do teachers have criminal background checks and child abuse clearances?

    Teachers do have criminal background checks and child abuse clearances.

  • Do parents/guardians need to have clearances to go on class trips or to help in the classroom?

    Yes, parents who wish to chaperone their own child or a small group of children need to have a criminal background check and child abuse check. These documents can be obtained online and are free for volunteers.
